The new WALGA RoadWise website is now live, delivering a refreshed, user-focused experience designed to better support Local Governments across Western Australia.
Featuring a modern look and improved functionality, the website brings together practical, evidence-based tools and guidance to support road safety planning, delivery and evaluation at a local level.
For more than 30 years, RoadWise has supported Local Governments to improve road safety outcomes. This new website marks the next evolution –translating national and state road safety priorities into practical, local action.
What’s new:
- a refreshed design and improved user experience across desktop and mobile
- improved accessibility to ensure information is easy to use
- a centralised Road Safety Library with tools, resources and guidance, and
- for the community, a new interactive Child Car Restraint Fitter map to help find accredited Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitters.
The website is designed as a tool for Local Governments, supporting decision-making, planning and project delivery, while providing access to the latest road safety insights and updates.
Utilising this new resource, WALGA’s RoadWise team will continue to support Local Governments as they manage and improve safety on their road networks.
Watch the launch message from WALGA CEO Nick Sloan.
We encourage all Local Governments to explore the new website and consider how it can support ongoing road safety efforts in your community.
