Perth and Peel Restrictions to be lifted from Sunday, 14 February
The Premier has announced that restrictions currently applied to the Perth and Peel regions will end as planned at 12.01am, Sunday, 14 February.
This will bring the entire State back to pre-lockdown conditions, with masks no longer required to be worn and no travel restrictions within WA, except for remote Aboriginal communities.

WA’s controlled interstate border and capacity restrictions which were in place prior to the snap five-day lockdown will be in place, pending ongoing health advice.

Events involving more than 150 patrons will be able to be held, and as was the case before the lockdown, public or private events involving more than 500 patrons that require Local Government authority approval will need an approved COVID Event Plan as part of that process.

Expanded mandatory contact register requirements introduced on Tuesday, 2 February will continue.

The WALGA office will reopen on Monday, 15 February.

WALGA will continue to coordinate COVID related advice and support to the sector - please send any enquiries to covid@walga.asn.au
For more information on return to pre-lockdown conditions and updates to the controlled interstate border, view the State Government website.
