Reconciliation

Reconciliation

At WALGA, we believe that a commitment to Reconciliation provides an opportunity to generate a greater understanding and mutual respect across cultures. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are unique and important to Australia’s national identity.

WALGA’s commitment to Reconciliation connects us to our values, particularly those of Respect and Collaboration. We support the efforts of WA Local Governments to foster respectful partnerships and strengthen relationships with local Aboriginal communities.
