weco is led by highly respected architects Paul Edwards and Christian Wetjen, who bring over 25 years of individual experience and a 20+ year partnership founded on collaboration and shared purpose. While weco is a young practice, its directors are recognised for their leadership in the civic and community space, with many award-winning projects delivered through their previous practices.

The firm specialises in transforming communities through the design of environments that strengthen connection and inspire learning, work, and play. weco focuses on Learning Environments, Libraries, Arts & Cultural Centres, Youth & Community Centres, Surf Clubs, Visitor Centres, and Sports & Recreation facilities for public and community clients. The directors’ collective portfolio includes celebrated projects such as the Mary Davies Library & Community Centre, Karla Katitjin Bushfire Centre of Excellence, Rockingham Youth Centre, and Baldivis District Sports Complex.
