The Heartwired Evolution is a cutting-edge, highly practical, data-driven leadership journey that is underpinned by a tool called The Predictive Index.
 
The Heartwired Evolution uses human data analytics captured by The Predictive Index (PI) to bring leadership theory to life, teaching leaders how to customise their leadership style to suit the behavioural drives and needs of each individual on their team, so that each person thrives and adds greater value to the team and the organisation.  

While The Heartwired Evolution is the vehicle to leadership and engagement success, the PI software is the engine that powers that vehicle.  It is this data-based, analytical, yet holistically human approach that sets this journey apart from any other development opportunities your leaders may have experienced.
 
The Heartwired Evolution consists of one (1) full-day workshop where leaders learn the basics of behavioural science so they can interpret the data captured by PI and is followed by ten (10) very hands-on, half-day workshops, held monthly.

The core focus of these workshops is to expand leaders’ “human-centric” capabilities, like emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience, and adapting to a more flexible work environment.  
 
These capabilities will become increasingly more critical as more repetitive, routine work logically transitions to artificial intelligence (AI), meaning leaders will have a more significant role in cultivating and nurturing interpersonal relationships.
 
Delivering the workshops monthly means leaders are constantly evolving their existing leadership skills, accessing the PI software, and engaging practically in their leadership learning journey, resulting in far better retention of knowledge and skills, and a deeper learned experience.  
 
Data about team members’ behavioural drives and needs is collected by the client, by having each person complete a behavioural assessment inside the client’s PI portal.  Since leaders therefore have access to that data through their own PI portal, the workshops can hone in on helping leaders develop tailored, specific strategies for each of their direct reports, using the PI platform’s leaders’ guides, charts, and tools.  
 
No two people can be managed the same way: some need detailed instructions, while others shut down if given too much detail; some need more social interaction, while others prefer to work quietly, alone.  Some want to be recognised publicly for their efforts, while others find such public recognition punitive.
 
Discovering which unique set of conditions and environment allows each person to shine and thrive is the art of leadership – an art made more fundamentally accessible by human data analytics.
 
Whether leaders are experienced, just starting their leadership journey, or are what we call “reluctant” leaders, being able to access data about each individual (as well as themselves) is a game-changer.  Such data provides deep insight into workplace behaviours and enables leaders to develop effective strategies for gaining the best from each individual.  
 
Broadly, The Heartwired Evolution expands the capacity of leaders, helping them make more confident recruitment decisions, develop others’ potential through coaching and effective feedback mechanisms, conduct difficult performance conversations, and lift team productivity by playing the right people in the right positions.  It is designed to support and develop leaders’ capabilities to better engage, inspire, and retain the members of their team.  The more individually valued, understood, recognised, and well-utilised a person feels, the less at risk they are of exiting.

The Heartwired Evolution and other workshops are primarily delivered by Dawn Russell, an accredited Predictive Index practitioner and trainer, who holds a Certificate IV Training and Assessment qualification, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Training & Development).
