The State Government has recently implemented the Short-Term Rental Accommodation (STRA) Register to manage the sector. LGAs may also require development approval to manage their specific requirements.
Policing the STRA providers is the responsibility of the LGAs. Proactive oversight ensures safe operations and manages community amenity impacts.
Our STRA compliance management system was launched in 2023 and provides a unique capability to support authorities in the oversight of the sector.
Our engagements with the DMIRS team have defined integration with the State Register which would enhance effectiveness and oversight.
