Paterson Architects

Paterson Architects has designed and delivered a wide variety of recreation and community-based facilities on behalf of Local Authorities in Western Australia for over 30 years. Our range of work includes indoor recreation centres catering for up to eight courts, sporting pavilions including club rooms/change rooms, umpires’ rooms, first aid, stores and maintenance sheds for sports fields.  We have undertaken many feasibility studies for a variety of sporting facilities and playing fields and provided master planning services our Clients.

Paterson Architects has undertaken a significant number of smaller scale refurbishment and alterations works.  We were engaged by one larger Local Authority to develop a standardised specification for their future renovations works, currently being rolled out across community and recreation facilities with their jurisdiction.  This has helped to provide consistency in their approach to design aesthetic, product and material selections and trade specifications, with a view to maintenance minimisation and longevity of community assets.
