Good Sammy Enterprises

Good Sammy, established in 1958, is the largest social enterprise in Western Australia. As a not for profit entity, its mission is to create employment opportunities for people with disability. 

Good Sammy offers a range of tailored business services including: 

•              logistics fleet services

•              e-waste collections attendance 

•              community recycling hub collections and 

•              booked kerbside donation collection services. 

Good Sammy owns a fleet of 15 trucks and vans that service a regular network of 32 stores, donation hubs and containers for change collection bins each week. 

Good Sammy is inherently connected with sustainability outcomes with significant investment in resource recovery infrastructure, processes and dedicated specialist resources (including inhouse Circular Economy and Resource Recovery Coordinators).  This allows the organisation to offer corporate and community focused services that support your objectives and sustainability goals. 

Good Sammy resource recovery initiatives see it service 1.2 million Western Australian customers per year, process 5 million kilograms of goods (diverting approx 80% from landfill) and recycle over 60 million containers.

Good Sammy has a multi-decade relationship working with Local, State and Commonwealth Governments to deliver quality and affordable services that also employ people with disability. These relationships span a number of resource recovery initiatives, which is where Good Sammy has an Industry leadership role. 

Good Sammy is a registered Social Enterprise through Social Traders and is the only large Western Australian social enterprise with disability employment, a logistics fleet and a reuse and recycling focus.
