Overview
The State Budget contains estimates for a range of State Government regulated tariffs, fees and charges.
The price path for non-contestable electricity tariffs for Unmetered Supply (UMS) has decreased from 6.15% in 2024-25 to -0.13% in 2025-26 and Traffic Lighting (W1/W2) has decreased from 6.63% from 2024-25 to 4.86% in 2025-26. Street Lighting (Z) in the Horizon Power service area has stayed the same at 5.90% across the forward estimates, whilst Street Lighting (Z) in the South West Interconnected System has seen its price path increase from 4.26% in 2024-25 to 5.54% in 2025-26.
Regulated tariffs are intended to reflect the cost and are smoothed across the forward estimates to minimise variations in price.
Key water consumption, wastewater and drainage tariffs for metropolitan and country customers will increase 2.5% in 2025-26.
Electricity tariffs for residential, community, charitable and small business customers will increase by 2.5% in 2025-26 and annually for the next four years. This is less than, or equal to, forecast inflation in each of the next four years. The State Government has terminated its Household Electricity Credit program.
