Elected at just 21 years old, Georgie Carey served eight years as an Elected Member, including two terms as Deputy Mayor. In 2020, she completed WALGA’s Diploma of Local Government – Elected Member, strengthening her governance knowledge and confidence that shaped her leadership journey, and ultimately led her to further study overseas.
