Celebrating creativity across Local Government

Showcase in Pixels is WALGA’s annual digital art exhibition, where Councils from across Western Australia celebrate their communities through vibrant artwork.

What began as Banners in the Terrace evolved into Showcase in Pixels in 2019 and is now the preeminent Local Government Art Competition in WA. Hosted by WALGA, entries are invited from all 139 Member Councils, with winning artworks displayed on the digital tower in Yagan Square in Perth CBD.

Submissions are now closed, and finalists will be announced soon.

Winners will be revealed on Thursday, 27 November at the Awards Ceremony at The Shoe Bar in Yagan Square. Each winning artwork will be showcased in the prime position on the Yagan Square digital screen, with our panel of judges present to congratulate the artists.

This page highlights our judging panel and event details as we prepare to celebrate the finalists.
