Western Power Access Arrangement (AA6) - Proposed Framework and Approach
The Access Arrangement (AA6) is an agreement between Western Power and the Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) that determines the services offered, terms, conditions and prices to use the Western Power electricity distribution and transmission network from 2028.

Following extensive consultation, including with WALGA, the ERA has released a draft decision on the framework and approach that Western Power will be required to adopt.

WALGA published a Discussion Paper to facilitate advice from Local Governments. Ten responses identified 16+ areas for potential inclusion in the framework. The draft Framework and Approach document addresses several critical issues from the WALGA submission, while other Local Government requests were not included.

If you would like to provide additional feedback on the proposed Framework and Approach, visit ERA’s consultation webpage.
