Thank A Volunteer Day Grants Program

Grants of up to $1,000 are available for community organisations to host events or activities occurring between Monday, 2 and Sunday, 8 December 2024 in celebration of volunteers for International Volunteer Day (5 December 2024).

Eligible applicants can apply for grants of up to $1,000 (exc. GST) to deliver a range of events and activities that may include:

• award ceremonies
• workshops, seminars and talks
• morning and afternoon tea
• excursions and day trips
• barbeques and dinners
• other community activities as proposed

Applications that display collaboration between local volunteer organisations, community-based not for profits and/or respective Local Governments to run and hold an event are encouraged.

Applications close Thursday, 11 July 2024.
