WALGA congratulates Pingelly for winning the overall 2023 Tidy Towns Sustainable Communities Award.

Pingelly is a connected and innovative community – environmentally, socially and historically. The Shire of Pingelly has collaborated extensively with community groups and members, resulting in a positive and focused framework covering arts, heritage and sustainability. The projects that have resulted are outstanding and are having a visible impact within the community. This small town is a leading example to others of positive community action, with projects started in Pingelly replicated across Western Australia.
The amazing Tidy Towns awards have been running for 54 years, celebrating Western Australia’s top litter-free and sustainable communities.
