Nominations are now open for the 2025 WA Fire and Emergency Services Awards (WAFES) hosted by Department of Fire and Emegency Services.
With close to 20,000 Bush Fire Brigade Volunteers across the state, Bush Fire Volunteers are the backbone of bushfire response in Western Australia, made up of everyday people who are called into dangerous situations to protect local communities.
Why not recognise their selfless dedication, commitment and efforts by submitting a nomination for these meaningful awards?
The WAFES awards, honour and acknowledge the achievements of emergency services personnel who have shown outstanding dedication to duty over the past 12 months and do so much to keep us all safe.
You are invited to nominate an individual or group from among your local Bush Fire Brigade Volunteers and recognise their critical role in your Local Government and the Community.
Nominations close 9:00am, Monday 17 March.
