The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations has partnered with the Melbourne Centre for Cities to deliver a workshop for local government officials to enhance their understanding of risk-informed engagement with China.
The program will take on 10 local government officials from across Australia per year for three years and is currently open for applications, until Friday 27 June.
The program includes
▪️A two-day in-person workshop at the University of Melbourne
▪️Online training sessions to build expertise in conducting city diplomacy
▪️A delegation visit to Hong Kong and Guangzhou to meet with academic and practice experts and network with Chinese peers.
