About the Program
This online program offers trainees two options of elective units within the Certificate III:
- Option A - Business Administration and Document Processing or
- Option B - Financial Transactions and Accounting Processes
This allows students, like Jaxon, to tailor their learning to their specific goals.
In addition to this, all learning resources have been specifically developed and contextualised for Local Governments in Western Australia.

Through the Certificate III, Officers will develop the skills and knowledge to:
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties
- Become an effective communicator
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the legislative requirements to better support their organisation and the community.
This program is available as a traineeship for eligible employees or on a fee-for-service basis for those who have been working in Local Government for longer than three months full-time.
