Kolbang Yanginy - the new Reconciliation resource empowering WA Local Governments

WALGA, in collaboration with Reconciliation WA and key State Government Agencies, is pleased to launch Kolbang Yanginy.

Kolbang Yanginy is a comprehensive online platform designed to support Local Governments across Western Australia to build strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, to honour cultural heritage, and integrate reconciliation into decision-making.

This website offers the latest information on legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements related to Aboriginal heritage and native title.

Focusing on key themes like reconciliation, partnerships and placemaking, Kolbany Yanginy provides advice, resources, case studies and an interactive map to build capability across Local Governments.  

WALGA and REC WA are hosting a webinar on Wednesday, 26 November.
