The pay rates in the Local Government Officers' (Western Australia) Award 2021 and the Municipal Employees (Western Australia) Award 2021 will be increased by 2.5% on 1 July 2021. The awards have not yet been updated by the WAIRC to include the new pay rates, but we anticipate this will occur in the next week.
WALGA Employee Relations produces State award wage schedules for subscribers. Subscriber Local Governments that operate in the State industrial relations system will be notified once the wage schedules have been updated. These will also be found on the WALGA website here, noting you will need to log in to view the schedules.
