Aboriginal Preferred Supplier Program

Aboriginal Business Engagement Tender

WALGA will be running a Request for Tender (RFT) process to prequalify Aboriginal Businesses to the Preferred Supplier Program (PSP).

The PSP is a procurement option for WALGA Members to purchase goods, services and works from a range of pre-qualified suppliers. It covers 12 Panels and over 150 categories of supply. All of which will be part of this RFT process.

More information about the Program can be found here: Preferred Supplier Program | WALGA

WALGA’s vision is to advance economic inclusion by enhancing the existing PSP with more Aboriginal businesses.  We aim to support our Members ability to simplify procurement and to support their social procurement policy objectives.

WALGA encourages business registered with the Aboriginal Business Directory WA and Noongar Chamber of Commerce to undertake the prequalification enhancing your visibility to the sector and becoming an easy to access procurement option for WALGA Members.

We recommend you familiarise yourself with the relevant categories of supply to ensure you apply for the appropriate Panel Request for Tender.

Through the RFT, applicants will be required to provide evidence that their organisation satisfies the requirements to be listed as an Aboriginal Business, Incorporated Aboriginal Organisation or Incorporated Indigenous Joint Venture. These requirements are outlined on the Aboriginal Business Directory WA.
