eLearning Course Overview
- This course describes the outcomes required to apply emergency management concepts and principals within Australia, with the main focus on Western Australia.
- The unit provides the foundation to increase Local Government’s knowledge of their responsibilities under the Emergency Management Act 2005, including all relevant concepts, legislation, policies and procedures, which will assist with emergency management planning and decision making.
Target Audience
- CEOs, Elected Members, Managers and Officers who would like to enhance their role in emergency management and/or learn more about the requirements for Local Government under the Emergency Management Act 2005.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of completing this program, participants should be able to:
- Confirm organisational emergency management requirements
- Contribute to stakeholder awareness in emergency management; and
- Support organisational/community emergency management planning and decision making.
