Roadside Vegetation Management Field Day - City of Kwinana

WALGA is hosting a Roadside Native Vegetation Management Field day in the Shire of Victoria Plains.
The one-day workshop provides an opportunity to:
The morning session features presentations from WALGA, the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER), Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), LGIS and Local Government.
The afternoon session features site visits to road construction or upgrade projects to view how vegetation has been considered in the design and planning process. It will also include discussion of roadside vegetation maintenance practices.
The training is targeted at Roads and Works Managers, Project Managers, Environment Officers and on ground staff involved in the clearing or management of roadside vegetation.
Morning tea and lunch are provided. Please dress appropriately for site visits, including long pants, enclosed shoes and wear a hi-vis vest.
