Join WALGA and the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) for a one-hour virtual session on the latest updates in managing the Polyphagous shot-hole borer.
The Government has announced that the Polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB) response will transition from eradication to management. WALGA has expressed disappointment with this decision and is actively advocating on this issue.
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPRID), who are leading the response, have identified that over the next 18 months they will work with Local Government and other stakeholders to develop the knowledge and capacity to manage the pest long-term.
This webinar is an initial opportunity to learn more about the transition to management and provide feedback to DPIRD and WALGA on the support needed by the sector.
