WALGA, in partnership with the Perth Inner City Group, is hosting a Field Day to share Local Government knowledge gained during the past four years on the management of Polyphagous shot-hole borer.
The Field Day includes presentations from Local Governments within the Quarantine Area on mapping of PSHB susceptible species, surveillance, integrated pest control and adaptive tree management. Field tours include visits to active infestations at Stirling Gardens in Perth, culturally significant Moreton Bay Figs and Paperbarks at Lake Claremont, and the Mt Eliza Scarp restoration project at Kings Park.
Attendees are asked to please dress appropriately for the weather, use sun protection, wear enclosed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.
This Field Day is intended for Local Government staff, Elected Members and partner organisations.
