WALGA’s annual People & Culture Seminar will be hosted on Friday, 19 July 2024 with the theme ‘Enhancing workplace culture in times of change.’  

With union movement and legislation changes occurring rapidly over the last year, the event will provide an opportunity for Local Government staff from across Western Australia to network and connect with their peers and industry experts. 

The day will navigate key areas of interest including: 

  • Influencing workplace culture  
  • Positive duty lens 
  • Engagement Success Stories
  • Capacity building 

Take part in State Employment Law Essentials training 

WALGA will also be hosting State Employment Law Essentials training on Thursday, 18 July, providing those from regional Local Governments the opportunity to undertake training and attend the People & Culture Seminar during their time in Perth.
