Local Government Road Safety Vanguards 2024

Local Government officers and Elected Members are invited to attend a free three-day workshop to learn about modern road safety practices and influencing decision making to reduce and prevent road deaths and serious injuries.

Delivered by Main Roads WA in partnership with WALGA, the Local Government Road Safety Vanguards program will be held from Tuesday, 30 April to Thursday, 2 May at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre.

Local Governments manage more than 87 per cent of the state's roads, where a higher proportion of all serious injury crashes occur. The Vanguards program aims to provide participants with practical tools to improve roads safety as well as gain knowledge about new approaches and how to use this information to bring about change in your communities.
