The Resilient Australia awards are celebrating 26 years of highlighting initiatives that build resilience and inspire others to act – making communities safer, more connected and better prepared for disasters and emergencies.
Open to all Australians, these important awards are excellent opportunity to spark local and national conversations around risk, preparedness, resilience, and community recovery. They celebrate initiatives across the country that foster community resilience to natural disasters and emergencies such as bushfires, floods, and cyclones.
Nominations are now open, until Tuesday, 3 June.
If you have a program or initiative that deserves nationally recognisition and promotion, please submit a nomination. Winners from each state and territory will also be in the running for two National Awards.
Nominate across seven categories:
• Individuals
• Not for profit organisations
• Government - all levels
• Small and large businesses
• Education institutions
• Research bodies
• Emergency service agencies
