An updated  Bus Stop Infrastructure Partnership Agreement was recently signed by the Acting Managing Director of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and WALGA President, Karen Chappel AM JP.

This updated version is the third since the Agreement was first established in 2015 and will run through to June 2029. It defines the roles and responsibilities of both parties in the planning, installation, and maintenance of bus stop infrastructure in areas served by SmartRider ticketed services, and includes grant funding for new and existing bus shelters.
