Minister’s Place Innovation Awards 2024

Now in their second year, the Minister’s Place Innovation awards showcase the best in place-based innovation by WA’s local governments across 3 categories:

• metropolitan Perth and Peel
• regional
• outstanding achievement (either metropolitan Perth, Peel or regional initiatives).

Projects should demonstrate:

• An innovative approach to a place-based opportunity or challenge.
• Significant improvements to standard practices.
• A high level of collaboration, including with external stakeholders.

Town Team Movement is administering the awards, with support from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
