Join the Volunteering Community Reference Group

The State Government is calling for nominations for people to be a part of the Volunteering Community Reference Group, which will provide the State Government information on emerging trends, issues impacting the volunteering sector, and feedback on the implementation of the WA Volunteering Sector.

Local Governments are instrumental in supporting local volunteer groups, organisations and further support for the sector.

Expressions of interest for the Volunteering Community Reference Group are open to people from the volunteering sector, with Reference Group membership being for two years.

The Volunteering Community Reference Group will be made up of 12 to 15 members and will include representatives from the volunteering sector - including individuals and organisations – as well as the sector peak body Volunteering WA and the Department of Communities.

Nominations are open until 4.00pm Friday, 9 August 2024.
