In response to feedback from the Emergency Management Roundtable held earlier in 2024 with WALGA, Local Government CEOs, and DFES, DFES has sent a new trial pre-bushfire season report pack has to Local Government CEOs. This initiative aims to better support Bush Fire Brigade management.
Additionally, improved communication resources are now available for registered volunteers on the DFES1056 Rural Fire Awareness course. This course is the minimum recommended standard for farmer response personnel.
