Apply for Commodity Route Funding

Applications can be submitted now for Commodity Route Funding in 2025/26.

Commodity Routes are roads with a significant, high priority commodity transport task.

Proposals for road improvement projects on Commodity Routes are now open for projects to be delivered in 2025/26. Projects not eligible for Road Project Grant Funding will be prioritised.

Application Forms, Application Guidelines and Assessment Guidelines for the Commodity Route Fund are available on the Main Roads website.

Local Governments must submit proposals to their Regional Road Group Secretariat for review and qualifying submissions must be sent here by Friday, 20 September.
