Selection Committee Vacancies

WALGA coordinates the appointment of Local Government representatives to a range of Local, State and Federal Government Boards and Committees on behalf of the Local Government sector.

WALGA’s Selection Committee utilises a transparent, robust, and merit-based nomination and selection process to ensure that the most qualified candidates are put forward to represent the Local Government sector.

The Association is pleased to announce the following vacancies:

  • Local Health Authorities Analytical Committee (LHAAC) (Elected Members and Local Government Serving Officers)
    • 1 Metropolitan Member.

    • 1 Country Urban Member.

Nominees are required to submit a completed nomination form, statement addressing the selection criteria and short curriculum vitae (two pages maximum) before the close of nominations 5:00pm Monday,  14 February 2022.
