UnionsWA has made an application to the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) for a new General Order to apply throughout the State of Western Australia to all employees as defined in subsection 7(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) (IR Act). This definition is very broad and includes an employee employed by a WA Local Government.
