WALGA will be hosting an official launch for our publication and web collection, From Idea to Implementation, which highlights the important work Local Governments are undertaking in economic development through a series of case studies.

Developed by WALGA in response to sector feedback, the publication showcases stories and successes from Local Governments across Western Australia.

When delivering economic development initiatives, Local Government practitioners will often experience similar challenges in trying to support their local economies.

While every Local Government area is unique, each plays an integral role in creating liveable and vibrant places, attracting investment, supporting their local businesses and encouraging visitation.

WALGA understands the important role Local Governments play in supporting diverse and resilient local economies.

Join us on Monday, 11 May in-person or online as we highlight the important role Local Governments play in delivering Economic Development opportunities for their communities, followed by light refreshments.
