LEMA Review Online Workshops and Survey Now Live!

WALGA and the State Emergency Management Committee (SEMC) Business Unit are working in partnership with key stakeholders to identify options to improve Local Emergency Management Arrangements (LEMA). Six face-to-face workshops have now been delivered in Geraldton, Stirling, Katanning, Bunbury, Northam and Victoria Park.

Online workshops will be delivered in October to ensure Local Governments unable to attend a face-to-face workshop have an opportunity to contribute to the LEMA Review.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples hold a special place in our communities and connect the broader population with a wealth of history, tradition and culture which enriches our society.  Our work regularly takes us across the State and as such WALGA would like to acknowledge the many traditional owners of the land on which we work throughout Western Australia. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
