State Emergency Management Capability Framework Review

SEMC is undertaking a review of the State Emergency Management Capability Framework and looking for feedback from Local Governments on this matter. To obtain feedback SEMC is undertaking a survey and hosting an online Local Government workshop.

Please find the link to the SEMC Capability Framework Review Survey here. The survey closes on Monday, 12 September.

The aim of the workshop will be to understand key themes arising from the capability review survey, Local Governments’ emergency management information needs, and what the capability framework and survey could look like going forward.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples hold a special place in our communities and connect the broader population with a wealth of history, tradition and culture which enriches our society.  Our work regularly takes us across the State and as such WALGA would like to acknowledge the many traditional owners of the land on which we work throughout Western Australia. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
