SMEC, and its Western Australian (WA) branch, are currently on a growth path to support Western Australia’s growth and has developed a business plan and strategy that focuses on local WA business; key focus areas include: Urban Development and Transport and Infrastructure sectors. The opportunity to work with the Local Government to provide engineering consultancy services is a key area of the business plan. SMEC’s strategy for growth is to develop its local presence and, where applicable, develop local partnerships with local consultants and contractors to provide required resources; as the business grows SMEC will engage new people locally to service the WA market. SMEC will continue to work with local partners to share business opportunities and resources that will result in the provision of a quality service to our clients.
