OnCall DBA provides Database Administration services for customer environments that scale from several servers and database instances, to large scale server environments. These services are provided on a mixture of physical and virtual infrastructure, either on premise or in the cloud.
We specialise in Microsoft and Oracle Services but also provide services for PostgreSQL and MySQL. We can provide onsite DBA's, Project and backfill / staff augmentation or the Managed Services of your entire organisations database requirements. We can undertake Cyber Security audits and health checks of existing organisational systems. We maintain required insurances including Cyber Insurance at a level that is required by the State Government of Western Australia for its CUA master agreement's.
The location of your infrastructure or business is no barrier to our ability in providing support. We can provide Database support services to any remote location that has network connectivity and we ensure secure connectivity is maintained at all times.
OnCall DBA was first established in 1997. It was incorporated on 1st July 2011.
For nearly two decades, a primary goal of OnCall DBA has been to provide our customers with planning and advisory services that is collaborative and focused in nature. These services are delivered to a level that exceeds the customer’s expectations.
As a database specialist organisation our focus is on databases and Middleware services, which we provide to our clients in a collaborative manner. We always strive for excellence in the services we provide. OnCall DBA has provided application database services, e.g. the Ingres to SQL Server migration at Dept of Training and Workplace Development. We have also provided customised installation and support documentation as part of our Ascender application upgrade service, e.g. Sydney University, Goldman Sachs Newcastle university, Charles Darwin University, RAC WA and Saint John of God Hospital.
OnCall DBA currently provides onsite, ad hoc, project and managed support services for a very diverse client base in Western Australia, the east coast of Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
