Biosecurity Blitz
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) invites industry and community members to participate in the annual Biodiversity Blitz to raise awareness of biosecurity in our daily lives.
The Blitz aims to discover, photograph and record as many interesting or damaging species as possible and takes place between Monday, 19 October and Monday, 16 November.

Pests could include weeds, insects, animals and diseases.

Organisms reported during the Blitz will be identified by experts and mapped online for the community to view.
