Thank you to all Elected Members who submitted nomination forms for the WALGA Diploma of Local Government Scholarship Award. Applications are now closed and all submissions are currently in the process of being assessed. Once complete, all applicants will be notified on the outcome of their application in September.

This award will provide the successful applicant with a scholarship to assist in covering the full Diploma of Local Government (Elected Member) training costs and assessment fees, along with relevant travel and accommodation costs, up to the value of $10,000.

WALGA's Diploma is the highest level of qualification that an Elected Member can obtain through WALGA Training (RTO 51992) and it has been designed specifically to meet the skills and knowledge requirements of an Elected Member’s role in Western Australia.
