Local Government has an important role in managing native vegetation and biodiversity due to their role as decision makers and land managers.

WALGA has received funding from the State Natural Resource Management Program for the Local Government Biodiversity and Native Vegetation Management Project.

The project focuses on increasing the capacity of South West Local Governments to manage and conserve biodiversity by facilitating access to better native vegetation data and development of local biodiversity strategies and/or policies.

Separately, feedback is being sought for the next State NRM and Coastal Conference. Complete the 5-minute survey to have your say about how the next Conference will look.
