Extension of Proof of Vaccine Requirements
The Premier has announced that proof of vaccination requirements for patrons will be extended State-wide from Monday, 31 January, and will also apply to a range of additional places.
The vaccination requirement will include hospitality venues, indoor entertainment centres, gyms, fitness centres and health studios.  The intent is that community sport will not be covered, unless it occurs at one of the venues included as part of the expanded requirements.

The Directions which give legal force to the announcement are yet to be released.

WALGA will seek clarification regarding the impact on recreation centres and other Local Government facilities, in particular if there is an impact on staff working at those facilities.
