State of Emergency Directions for Post Lockdown Transition Restrictions Released
Directions to bring into effect transitional restrictions for the Perth and Peel area for the next eight days have been signed and released.
The Safe Transition Directions outline new requirements for the Perth and Peel regions up until 12.01 on Sunday, February 14 including travel restrictions from the region, prohibited activities, new gathering rules and capacities and mandatory mask wearing requirements and exceptions.

All relevant businesses including Local Governments are required to update and display their COVID Safety Plan when reopening.

Please note under these Directions, multi-functional facilities, parks and ovals are only permitted to have a maximum of 150 people at any time across the entire venue and are subject to ensuring the 4sqm rule is applied.  For example: an indoor pool with a 6-court indoor sports hall and café may operate with a maximum of 150 people across the entire venue, including spectators and coaches.

The new Closure and Restriction (Limit the Spread) Directions (No 13)  no longer contain requirements in relation to Contact Registers, which are now contained in the separate Contact Register Directions.

These Directions contain a specific provision requiring people to provide their contact information in order to remain at a relevant place.
Further detail on the restrictions is contained in the Directions linked above, with accompanying FAQs published on the State Government website. Please direct any enquiries to covid@walga.asn.au
