With over 25 years across professional services, member-based organisations and public and private health sectors, Kelly brings a unique blend of experiences and broad skill-set encompassing senior management roles in general management, membership, advocacy, business development and marketing, and human resource specialties, together with a private and public sector legal background.
Kelly is the Deputy Mayor of the City of Busselton. She is also the Deputy Chancellor and a third-term member of the governing Council of Edith Cowan University, and an active contributor to several Council Committees and Chair of the Legislative Committee and a Board Member in the NFP sector. This experience is complemented by working closely with governing bodies in the member-based organisations at RAC and the Law Society and executive committees of partnerships in the professional services firms.
Now based in regional Western Australia, Kelly conducts a consulting practice, KLH Consulting, specialising in providing services in the area of training, coaching and facilitation, project management, business development & marketing, people services, strategic planning and governance.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Laws and was a Lawyer with international law firm Minter Ellison. Practising predominantly in the Local Government sector, she was also a member of the legal teams on two major statutory inquiries, including the Inquiry into the City of Cockburn. Kelly also holds qualifications in Training & Assessment and a Diploma of Applied Science (Distinction) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
