Participants will increase their knowledge and understanding of the Award and the interaction with the Fair Work Act 2009 (including the National Employment Standard) to be able to respond to questions or provide information to employees and management.

Target Audience

Suitable for Local Government HR and payroll professionals who would like to increase their knowledge of the Local Government Industry Award 2010.

  • key Award provisions, including recent changes to the Award;
  • how to interpret and apply Award provisions;
  • how the Fair Work Act 2009 interacts with the Award; and
  • when and how the Award interacts with Enterprise Agreements
