The WALGA Salary and Workforce Survey is available through a subscription which gives access to an online portal and PDF report providing comprehensive data and insights for Local Governments in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
Enhancements to the 2019/20 Salary and Workforce Survey report include:
- simplification of the workforce profile data collection by removing the need to enter data by department
- pay transparency – Local Governments will be shown in salary searches and downloads to enable relatable analysis
- an employee turnover calculator
- a revised position list and new position description functionality, and
- a demonstration video about how to navigate and maximize the use of the online portal.
Other features of the WALGA Salary and Workforce Survey include:
- a unique online dashboard view for each Local Government
- filters to view salaries for comparable roles
- a remuneration calculator to use in recruitment and human resource strategy development
- the ability to compare your Local Government with industry trends and benchmarks, and
- use of workforce and HR metrics in workforce planning, enterprise bargaining, policy reviews and salary negotiations.
