Important – WALGA Salary and Workforce Survey for 2020/21

Due to the impact of COVID-19 and the challenges it has posed for Local Governments and their employees, WALGA in consultation with SalaryOne, has made the decision to not conduct the annual WALGA Salary and Workforce Survey for 2020/21.

We acknowledge the amount of time and work involved in completing the survey each year and understand that this year Local Governments are focused on providing services and support to their communities, and maintaining job security and sustainability for their employees. We also understand that maintaining job security and sustainability has meant Local Governments have had to be creative and innovative about how they consult and engage with, and redeploy their employees during this period.

With this in mind we will seek to capture this critical information in 2021, when we conduct the next survey. The data collected will be instrumental to assisting Local Governments develop risk mitigation plans and strategies for the future. Further, it will identify key areas requiring sector advocacy.  

For those who have a 2019/20 subscription to the Salary and Workforce Survey, you will still be able to access the portal, reporting, dashboards and data collected for the 2019/20 year.
