PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
As the Superintendent we will administer the contract, including:
- Oversee day-to-day operations;
- Attend meetings to ensure project aims are being met; and
- Make decisions on variables that arise under the contract.
- Assess the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet contract specifications;
- Review and approving project programs;
- Direct the contractors and employees on behalf of the Principal;
- Order a postponement or suspension of work; and
- Issue variation orders.
- Assess progress claims;
- Assess claims for extensions of time;
- Assess claims for extra payment either under the contract or as a result of variations to the contract including conducting valuations; and
- Issue progress certificates.
