Calibre Consulting is a professional infrastructure services firm with proven expertise in structural, civil, planning, transportation, water and environmental engineering. Our portfolio of services also encompasses a range of infrastructure support services including project management and contract administration.

Over the course of 60 years we have grown to over 650 engineers and technicians in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Through its strategically located Western Australian offices in Perth, Bunbury and Margaret River, our Western Australian team provides a convenient multi-disciplinary consultancy service.

The company’s multidisciplinary capabilities and close working relationship with other specialist consultants provides it with the flexibility and strength to undertake a broad range of projects.

We pride ourselves on our “smart” approach to delivering projects. In everything we do, we work to ensure our clients obtain the optimal outcome possible.

A dedication to technically challenging and practical solutions is central to Calibre Consulting’s client service approach. Clients value our ability to understand and satisfy the needs of all project stakeholders – including government agencies and local authorities, project owners and the community.

Calibre Consulting’s team is committed to delivering tangible outcomes which add value to development projects throughout metropolitan and regional areas. We understand local conditions and the operating environments of the regions where we work.

We aim to provide all of our clients with quality service and the least cost construction solutions for works. We achieve this by:

  • Ensuring a high degree of collaboration and stakeholder engagement that draws on many years of experience from team members;

  • Allocating the “right people with the right skills to the right projects” thereby maximising project quality and minimising delay risk;

  • Ensuring senior people are involved every step of the way from inception through to completion providing robust and effective technical solutions and decisions that are made in the context of desired commercial outcomes;

  • Challenging the status quo in every decision we make. “Text book” solutions need to be tested to maximise investment return and minimise cost; and

  • Proactively managing multi-disciplinary consulting teams to produce an efficient and fully integrated solution. Assertive, frequent and proactive communication plays a key role and ensures all stakeholders are up to date.

Calibre Consulting are also committed to integrating environmentally sustainable design into all our projects. Our accredited personnel provide EnviroDevelop certification to promote sustainability in the industry.

We operate on the principle of “maximising our clients’ return through smarter solutions”. We achieve this by ensuring the right people with the right skills are allocated to the right project.

Our goal is to work closely with our clients to satisfy the needs of all project stakeholders including government agencies, local authorities, project owners and the community. We coordinate across our disciplines to ensure timely, cost-effective and efficient delivery of your project.

Calibre Consulting in WA currently has a staff of almost 40. We have ample skills and capacity to handle major projects and allocate staff and resources accordingly to projects to bring in extensive efficiencies.

Our local offices also provide employment opportunities to the local community, either directly within Calibre, or as part of supporting businesses including sub-contractors and construction companies. Our local employees also bring a wealth of detailed local knowledge from diverse regions across the state. This greatly assists with tailoring projects to the local conditions and community expectations.

As the level of workload can vary throughout the year, Calibre pays close attention to each project to ensure adequate resources are available to complete each project on time. Project teams are augmented where required to provide further support. Calibre also tracks projected workload commitments to ensure that deadlines can readily fit within available resources.
